It’s hard to believe there’s only two weeks left of 2021. Forget about waiting until the last minute to make plans for December 31. From ice sculptures and family-friendly festivities, to Harbor cruises and parties at all the hottest clubs, here’s your guide to celebrating New Year’s Eve in Boston.
Grab your best Gatsby get up (yes, the theme is the Roaring 20’s) and dance the night away aboard the Music City Queen Riverboat. Tickets start at $95 per person and the ship boards at 8:00pm on December 31.

Those looking to celebrate a day early (Thursday, December 30 to be exact) can hop aboard the Northern Lights for a 90-minute cruise filled with classic Christmas carols. Guests can choose to depart at either 6:00pm or 8:00pm.
Live music, magic, and performances by Cirque du Light await guests of the Time Out Market Boston Winter Wonderland NYE extravaganza. Tickets are $90 and include a complimentary champagne toast and $60 gift card to be used towards food and drink at the Winter Wonderland event.
General admission tickets start at $35 and include entrance to the event. For an additional $75 (yes, you’ll need to purchase the $35 GA ticket first), you can reserve a private table for 2-4 guests and receive a bottle of sparkling wine and an 8-piece appetizer.
Check out the longest-running NYE bash in Boston and head to the Westin Copley this December 31. Three ticket options are available — Dinner, Reception, and Party — and prices start at $65 per person. Guests can also participate in the silent auction where proceeds will be donated to The Ellie Fund.

NETA Premium Cannabis and Venu Nightclub have teamed up to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Boston. Ticket prices start at $55 per person.
YES there will be fireworks this year! Head to Copley Square, Boston Common, or the Boston Harbor for an assortment of activities such as live music, performances, a parade, and complimentary ice skating. Family fireworks will start at 7:00pm from the Boston Common with a second round of pyrotechnics launching from near the Boston Harbor at midnight.
