Bruins Stay On The Road: Longtrip To Tampa Bay

The Boston Bruins look to stay in the win column with a victory over the New York Islanders. The Bruins went on to win that game last Saturday with a score of 4-0 in regulation. Goals from David Pastrnak, Charlie Coyle, Brand Marchand, and Matt Grezlcyk got the win but most importantly Tuukka Rask got the shutout.

The top two teams of the Atlantic go head to head tonight as the Boston Bruins make way to Tampa Bay. The Bruins have a 7 point lead over the Lightning, and has the better last 10 record. Granted the Boston Bruins have a 7 point lead but the Tampa Bay Lightning is not a team you sleep on. The Lightning have been a very competitive team, and with stars like Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman, and Nikita Kucherov.

Brad Marchand will be a game time decision in tonight’s game due to being under the weather. The veteran winger did not participate in the morning skate, but don’t fully rule him out. If Marchand is scratched from tonight’s game, that’s not an issue at all. Chris Wagner will be returning to the line up after suffering an apparent upper body injury, and participated in both morning skates Monday and Tuesday.
