Bruins Fall In A Losing Streak: Dallas Stars Come To Town

The Boston Bruins lost last Tuesday night to the Calgary Flames 5-2 in regulation. This is the second straight lost for the Boston Bruins and while still leading the Atlantic Division, the Tampa Bay Lightning aren’t you far behind.

The Bruins will host the Dallas Stars (37-20-6) tonight at the TD Garden. The Dallas Stars on a two game winning streak as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks and Carolina Hurricanes. The Stars are just 7-2-1 in their last two games.

With the NHL in a bit of a tight spot, the league looks to possibly getting rid of the emergency goalie policy. Just recently, Toronto Maple Leafs zamboni driver David Ayres (42) was needed to goal tend for the Carolina Hurricanes and ended up winning. Why does the NHL frown upon this?

Starting Goalies:

Boston– Jaroslav, Halak- GAA 2.42 / SV%.918 (16W/ 6L/ 6OTL)

Dallas-Ben, Bishop- GAA 2.45 / SV%.922 (21W/ 13L/ 4OTL)

Tonight’s Game: 7:30PM- TD Garden- Boston, Mass.

Next Game: New York (I)- Saturday (2/29)- 1PM- Barclays Center- Brooklyn, New York
