Bruins Win Five Straight: Coyotes Come To Town For A Matinee

The Boston Bruins took down the Chicago Blackhawks but it took overtime to do so. The game winning goal came off of Charlie McAvoys stick as the winning goal was his first goal of the season. The other goal scored came from Sean Kuraly as he earned his fifth goal on the season.

The Arizona Coyotes (27-22-7) come to the TD Garden in a matinee game. The Boston Bruins (33-10-12) look to extend their winning streak to six. The Coyotes in their past five games have only won once and in those five games, have allowed their opponents to score fifteen times.

John Moore will make his way back to the Bruins lineup due to defenseman Brandon Carlo dealing with a family matter. “Carlo took a personal day to head back to Colorado to deal with the matter”- Bruins Coach Bruce Cassidy. Moore will be paired alongside with Torey Krug.

Yesterday was a big day for Bruins Captain Zdeno Chara as he was celebrated for his relentless dedication to the community and serving others. Chara was presented with custom golden gloves made my Warrior Hockey and a $10,000 donation made to the Italian Home for Children in his name. Final key part to Charas celebration, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh presented a “Zdeno Chara Way” street sign.
