The last game the Boston Bruins played as a team was January 21st where they went on to beat the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 in regulation. While the Bruins have been resting, David Pastrnak was not.
David Pastrnak was this years Atlantic Division captain for the All Star festivity’s along side with Bruce Cassidy as the coach. Not only is Pastrnak getting Hat-Trick’s in the regular season, he even gets them in All Star games. With all of the goal scoring he (Pastrnak) is most likely on the road to getting 50+.
Before the All Star break Tuukka Rask has suffered an apparent concussion after getting hit by Columbus Blue Jacket’s, Emil Bemstrom. Rask had missed the next three games due to the injury but since the All Star break was right after, he had all that time to recover. Rask stated “The headaches weren’t that bad, but it was the motion sickness.” Tuukka Rask has suffered some concussions previously in his career but he said this is the first time having that experience. Luckily for him, he has recovered enough to possibly make a game time appearance.
With the Boston Bruins (29-10-12) make their way to Winnipeg to face the Jets (25-22-4). Both teams have plenty of time to rest so they must be itching to get back on the ice. The only difference is the Bruins are coming off a victory sine the break and the Jets have done the opposite.
