Another Losing Streak Arises: Washington Capitals Come To Boston

The Boston Bruins (21-7-9) continue their three game losing streak as they lost to the Nashville Predators Saturday (4-3 in Overtime). With two goals from Patrice Bergeron and a goal from Par Lindholm wasn’t enough to get the Bruins victory. The last game of the home stand will be a difficult one as the Washington Capitals (26-6-5) who are at the top of their division come to the TD Garden.

Key factors fro the Bruins tonight and one of the most important factors is the Boston Bruins will be without the future hall of famer Zdeno Chara. Instead of being on the ice he will be right around the corner at the Mass General Hospital getting the metal hardware removed out if his jaw from an injury he suffered during the Stanley Cup Finals last June. With Chara’s absence expect to see Brandon Carlo, John Moore and Charlie McAvoy with more ice time and more energy on the penalty kill. For the offense newly appointed Captain for the Atlantic Division in the All Star game, David Pastrnak looks to bring more to the game. He has been quite the star on this Boston team by still leading the NHL in goals (28).
