With the Boston Bruins (21-7-7) dropping the opening game of their home stand to the Los Angeles King’s it’s not off to a good start. They will be hosting the New York Islanders (22-8-2). The Islanders are only in second place of the Metropolitan Division just behind the Washington Capitals.
The Boston Bruins are having an alright season. Very up and down but overall they have one of the best overall records. Not to mention they still lead the Atlantic Division with 49 points (Behind them: Buffalo Sabres: 39 points).
In order for the Bruins to stay on track they have to remain healthy while on top of that scoring early and keeping a lead. With the top players like David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron, and Brad Marchand performing normally now is great news for the team. What is also great for the Boston Bruins is the talent from the more newer players. Players like Sean Kuraly, Anders Bjork, Brett Ritchie, and Charlie McAvoy have been doing outstanding for the organization since they started. It makes the team look great for the future weather it’s a year to two years down the road.
