Winning Streak Came To An End: On To Colorado

All good things must come to an end eventually. With the Boston Bruins (20-3-6) losing to the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday night (4-3 in Overtime) the 8 game winning streak ends. With an impressive 3 goal 3rd period to make it go into overtime is remarkable, but they came up to short.

The Boston Bruins will be hosting the Colorado Avalanche (18-8-2) tonight. Some takeaways and key headlines for tonight Patrice Bergeron skating, but on no contact list. He won’t be playing on today’s matchup but he is very close for a return. With David Pastrnak still on the top of scoring goals, it seems other teams are “targeting” him. You can see that from the last few games we have encountered with Montreal, Carolina, and New York. So with that in mind be sure to keep a close eye on Pastrnak throughout the season. Hopefully the referees do to.

Not much to really reflect on other than the Boston Bruins needing to score first and holding a lead. Late game goals, and going into overtime doesn’t seem to be working for the team.

Starting Goalies:

Boston: Tuukka Rask

Colorado: Philipp Grubauer

Tonight’s game: 7PM- TD Garden- Boston, Mass.
