Boston’s median one-bedroom rent up nearly 6 percent annually in July, report says

Shutterstock The median rent for a Boston one-bedroom was up 5.6 percent in July, to $2,450 a month, compared with the same time last year. The city’s median two-bedroom rent was up 3.3 percent over the same period. That is according to a new analysis of median rents in 16 Boston-area cities and towns from real estate research and listings site Zumper.
